After years of shooting goals on the fields of many local universities and colleges, the San Jose Earthquakes have a new, permanent home—the Avaya Stadium—located only 1.6 miles from the Madison Street Inn! Today, the Earthquakes get to show off their new stadium to the rest of the Major League Soccer (MLS) community at their first official game of the season against the Chicago Fire. 18,000 fans are expected to attend the game, selling out all of the seats in the entire stadium! The game begins at 4pm PST and will be airing on FS1 and FOXD.
If you are looking for a place to stay in the San Jose area so that you can root for the Earthquakes at their beautiful, new stadium, look no further! The Madison Street Inn is the place to stay.
It is easy to take public transportation to the game. A bus that will take you directly to the stadium is within 10-15 min walking distance from our bed and breakfast. No need to find parking!
After the game, our nice hot tub will be waiting for you to enjoy, and in the morning, a delicious homemade breakfast with coffee and orange juice.
